If you’re looking for a role that enables you to do what you do best while making the future more sustainable, this is the role for you!  We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our Technology Team who will support our growing international team and office based in Dublin, Ireland.

Position type: Full-time, exempt

Location:  The position is located in our Dublin, Ireland office. Employees must work in the Dublin office at least 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operation of EnergyCAP in-office and remote staff.
  • Organize and respond to staff-submitted desktop support tickets.
  • Communicate and build relationships with EnergyCAP staff.
  • Monitor and optimize office networking, wiring and Wi-Fi hardware, working with building IT staff if necessary.
  • Work as part of the EnergyCAP Technology team.
  • Work with our Technology team to plan network and computer changes and the feasibility of projects recommended by EnergyCAP staff.
  • Monitor technology trends and make recommendations on incorporating new technology into the company’s existing platforms.
  • Purchase, configure, and install hardware and software to meet the needs of EnergyCAP international staff.
  • Be able to quickly and autonomously close support tickets.
  • Produce clear documentation on necessary processes and tasks.
  • Be included in EnergyCAP Technology team sprints, stand-ups, and demos.

Required experience and skills:

  • Holds an associate or bachelor’s degree in a technology field or possesses relevant work experience.
  • System administration skills with Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
  • Able to identify and resolve hardware, network, and software problems.
  • Support common desktop environments and software.
  • Understanding of Active directory, Azure EntraID, DNS, VLANS, NAT, DHCP, Group Policy
  • Familiar with device management tools, Intune, Kandji, Apple Business Manager
  • General scripting including some knowledge in PowerShell, PHP, Bash
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
