MEG’s announce latest NHS customer

Digital Hub based MEG Support Tools have announced the latest addition to their expanding client family NHS Lothian.

NHS Lothian is responsible for the City of Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian. NHS Lothian oversees all Lothian health services including hospitals, GP and dental practices, community-based services and pharmacy.

MEG’s all-in-one digital quality management system simplifies how organisations manage healthcare quality from end-to-end. MEG’s award-winning Audit & Inspection module is a mobile-first digital system helping hospitals and healthcare organisations to embrace a faster, paperless auditing process.

In line with its eHealth Strategy, NHS Lothian identified the need for a digital auditing system to input, display and extract data for local care assurance and safety purposes in real-time, vastly reducing the burden on frontline staff.

MEG’s announcement comes at a time of renewed focus on the medtech industry during the COVID-19 crisis which sees Ireland in a position to respond quickly and creatively as one of the top five medtech hubs globally.

In response to the increased need for digital healthcare tools brought about by the current pandemic, MEG has created the ‘COVID-19 Hospital Toolkit’, a feature bundle in their app, including ‘PPE Compliance’ and ‘PPE Station Check’ audits amongst others. The MEG app  is available on any device and can be downloaded from app stores for free.
