The Digital Hub & Dublin Dance Festival shortlisted at 2021 Business to Arts Awards

The Digital Hub is delighted to be shortlisted with the Dublin Dance Festival for the Best Use of Creativity in the Community award at the 2021 Business to Arts Awards.

The nomination is for our collaboration on the ‘The Missy Elliott Project’ in June 2019, when a group of young girls were mentored by female artists of colour over the course of a week at a creative space at The Digital Hub campus in Dublin 8.

This live performance and digital exchange project, saw the young women work with an expert team of choreographers, performance artists, musicians, and designers to make a VR experience which imagines a radical new future.

The winners of the Best Use of Creativity in the Community award, will be announced by online broadcast on Wednesday 21st of April from 5-6pm. Register to attend the event here.
